Ghana Police Celebrates Richmond Nyarko ‘s First-Class Achievement from UG

The Ghana Police Service (GPS) celebrates Lance Corporal Richmond Nyarko Obeng after his exceptional academic achievements.

According to the Service, it is proud of the remarkable achievements of the Police Officer.

”The Ghana Police Service is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Lance Corporal Richmond Nyarko Obeng, who recently graduated with First-Class Honours in Administration (Accounting Major) from the prestigious University of Ghana, and was the valedictorian of his graduating class.”

Lance Corporal Richmond Nyarko went to the University of Ghana pursue Administration-Accounting as a Major. After years of studies, he came out with good grade.

After burning midnight candles, LC Nyarko graduated with First-Class Honors with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.82.

Celebrating his remarkable performance, Ghana Police Service wrote in statement on its social media handles expressing how members of the service feel about this.

The police in the statement details out the journey of Lance Corporal Richmond Nyarko Obeng and how far he has come.

The GPS revealed that ”Lance Corporal Obeng’s academic journey has been nothing short of exemplary, earning him a Final Grade Point Average (FGPA) of 3.82.”

The service has disclosed that, in 2016, Lance Corporal Obeng joined the Ghana Police Service to serve and protect the good people of Ghana.

His dedication and commitment were evident during his time in training at the National Police Training School (NPTS), Tesano, Accra, and successfully emerging as the second overall best recruit.

”Following his passing out in 2017, Lance Corporal Obeng, then a Police Constable, was posted to Bulenga in the Upper West Region, where he performed general Police duties.”

The PR of the service added that ”Richmond was subsequently transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Headquarters, Accra, in 2018, where he was attached to the CID Operations.”

”While at the CID Operations, Lance Corporal Obeng enrolled at the esteemed Detective Training Academy (DTA) Tesano, Accra,” the service revealed.

”By dint of hard work and dedication to his studies, he was adjudged the overall best detective at the end of the course, demonstrating his knack for excellence,” the statement added.

”Currently assigned to the Financial Forensics Unit (FFU) at the CID, Lance Corporal Obeng continues to demonstrate excellence in his role, much to the admiration and appreciation of his superiors and colleagues alike.”

The Ghana Police Service also added a heartfelt message to LC Richmond Nyarko for his great achieved from the University of Ghana.

“Lance Corporal Richmond Nyarko Obeng, the Ghana Police Service celebrates you on your outstanding academic accomplishments and applauds your commitment to both law enforcement and academic excellence.”
